Don Waller Interactives came into existence in its early form in June of 2000. After working for an internet company for four years, Don Waller became a casualty of the dot.com bust - the company could no longer sustain itself and folded, leaving Don looking for a job. But the thought of trying to fit into the increasingly corporate world of internet companies didn't really have that much appeal, so Don decided to go solo. This site, and the sites on our portfolio page, are the result of that decision.

Don's background is a varied one - having studied graphic design and broadcast journalism in high school and college, he branched out into audio recording and video editing. He has composed commercial music beds (being a musician since the age of 9), worked in world-class recording studios, been signed to Warner Brothers Records for a time in the early Nineties, played in concert halls and clubs all over the country, and spent a couple of years as a freelance entertainment writer in his home town of Philadelphia.

With such a crazy patchwork of work history and experience, Don found in the internet the perfect place to bring all that history to bear in the new media of the web. Don still feels a great passion for web design - the fact that he happens to get paid for it is gravy.
